Dominican Republic Schools for the Deaf
All countries in the world are not as fortunate as the United States to have the resources to help deaf children live healthy, normal lives. One of the countries that is having some of the worst problems with finding ways to deal with deafness in children is the Dominican Republic.
Many children who are deaf are forced into prostition, and/or sweat shops to work for little or no money. With a lack of supplies and education, these children aren't even given a chance.
Signing Fiesta, along with many other organizations, is trying to bring this epidemic to an end. With your donations we are able to send supplies to schools in the Dominican Republican to aide these children in living healthy, normal lives. Even the smallest of donations can make a huge difference.
We have collaborated with Vision Trust to get these supplies to the children that need them most. With your help, we can expand our service and help children throughout the world.
